  • How to access my IP-camera?

Open iSpyCams, go to "My Cameras", press + button. Then fill the following fields:
"Add network address" - Here you should type your camera's IP-address and port. Please be sure to use external IP.
Here is the list of IP addresses assigned to local networks:

   10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
   172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
   192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255

If you camera has a local IP-address, you may connect to it only when your mobile is inside local network, e.g. via local Wi-Fi.
To access such a camera from outside its local network you may setup port-forwarding for your router. Port forwarding is the act of forwarding a network port from one network node to another. This technique can allow an external user to reach a port on a private IP address (inside a LAN) from the outside via a NAT-enabled router. Please contact your network administrator.

Default port is 80. If you know that your camera uses another port, please enter it.

"Add camera model" - Here you should select your cameras model from the list. If your camera is not listed, you may select "Don't know".

"Authorization" - If your camera requires authorisation, please enter login and password in this field.

"Add camera name" - Here you can enter your camera's name, for example "My office cam" or "My home cam" etc.

"Add camera to group" - You may add your camera to group. This allows to view several network cameras simultaneously.

"Refresh rate" - You may set fast, normal or slow refresh rate. The lower the camera refresh rate, the lower traffic consumption is. But also the lower the video quality is.
